About Ryan Kay, DMD
Growing up around dentistry, I knew at an early age that I wanted to be a dentist. After graduating from the University of San Diego, I went on to study at Western University of Health Sciences where I earned both my Masters in Medical Science and Doctorate of Dental Medicine. I think you’ll find me not only to be a kind and compassionate person, you’ll always find me to have a friendly smile and gentle touch. I am a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, as well as Spear and sdCAD/CAM Dentists Study Clubs where I continue to learn and fuel my passion for dentistry and technology. I am always taking continuing education to further the care I can provide for you. I’m trained and certified in Oral Conscious Sedation and Invisalign. I am proud to be a clinical product reviewer for the Clinician’s Report that is read by thousands of dentists across the country each month. I live here in Encinitas with my wife Katie and our dog Indie. When not in the office you can find me at the beach or snowboarding in the mountains, I also really enjoy golf, tennis, and baseball. I look forward to taking care of you the way I would members of my own family for decades to come.
