About Roshanak Dezfoolian, DMD
Dr. Rose graduated from University of Connecticut (UCONN) School of Dental Medicine. She completed General Practice Residency at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, where she graduated top of her class. She concentrated in different areas of cosmetic and general dentistry area with special focus on TMJ (Temporo-mandibular Joint disease), Emergency Dentistry and endodonthics. She completed Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Engineering and Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Wright State School of Engineering in Ohio. Dr. Rose has affiliation and clinical privilege at St Mary's Hospital. Dr. Rose is active in her community. She volunteers in different organizations in the region. She is involved with Mission of Mercy, providing free dental care. Since graduating from UCONN, she continues to inspire and teach pre-dental students. She feels that mentoring dental students not only benefits future generation of dentists but also sharpens her skills by staying up-to-date with most current technology and literature. Dr. Rose is married to Dr. Fattahi, Chief of Neurology at St. Mary's Hospital, and they have a young toddler, Aiden, who keeps them well occupied at home.
