About Robert B. Waheed, DDS
Dr. Robert Waheed has been in private dental practice in Houston for over 33 years. He maintains a general and restorative dentistry practice with an emphasis on aesthetics and cosmetics. He provides porcelain crowns, bridges and veneers, tooth-colored restorations, implant restorations, tooth whitening, cleanings and all restorative care. Dr. Waheed’s practice philosophy has always centered on providing excellent cosmetic and restorative dentistry for his patients while doing so in a caring and comfortable manner. He emphasizes preventive treatment and education for his patients so they can make educated decisions about their dental health. Dr. Waheed is a native Houstonian, having attended Bellaire High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Texas Tech University in 1981. He graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1985 and has been in private practice here ever since. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a leader of the Bayou City Dental Study Group. He has been named a Top Dentist in Texas by Texas Monthly Magazine every year from 2007 to present. He also gained the “Super Dentist” peers recognition award from 2009 to present. Houstonia Magazine awarded him as well with The Houstonia Top Dentists award in 2010 and every year since! Dr. Waheed and his wife, Deborah, have two daughters; one who is presently in dental school and one who is completing her elementary education degree in May 2019. He spends his free time on the golf course.
