About Robert B. Thomas, DDS
Dr. Thomas graduated from UCLA with a degree in Biochemistry in 1984 then went to USC for Dental School. He graduated from USC in 1989 in the top 10 of his class. Dr. Thomas has practiced as a family and cosmetic dentist in Davis CA since 1993. He has consistently maintained a goal of excellence in dentistry. He is regularly attending advanced courses in various fields such as periodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, implants, cosmetics, and pain relief. Dr. Thomas likes to provide state-of-the-art dental care to his patients, as he believes the best dentistry is up-to-date dentistry. As a result, Dr. Thomas has incorporated lasers in his office for detection of decay and defects (Canary) and treatment of teeth, bone and gums (Waterlase). He provides same-day crowns (Cerec) with some cases, and has a 3D x-ray unit for complicated diagnosis and treatments. He is also an Invisalign provider. Along the lines of providing the most advanced dental care, Dr. Thomas is a clinical professor at UCSF. He enjoys showing the new generation of dentists all that he can to enable them to be the best. Dr. Thomas’ goal has always been to provide the best dentistry to the families of Davis. He is always seeking the best in personnel to assist in the front where you see cheerful faces as you enter the office, and in the back where we provide the most gentle and comprehensive care.
