About Robert N. Spiegel, DDS
Dr. Robert Spiegel, ""Dr. Bob"", is a cosmetic and family dentist who has treated the Baltimore community with professionalism and charisma for 35 years. A graduate of the University of Maryland Dental School, Dr. Spiegel is a pioneer among statewide dentists, incorporating Cerec technology that allows designing and perfecting one visit porcelain crowns, without impressions or temporaries. He also uses digital x-ray technology which decreases radiation exposure to 1/3 of standard x-rays while allowing instant viewing of the results. Among his many accomplishments, Dr. Spiegel is also the creator of the award winning character ""Relaxadactyl"", a cartoon dental dinosaur who encourages and de-stigmatizes dental visits, and reinforces the importance of regular dental care. Dr. Bob believes that humor and fun can greatly enhance one's dental experience. Dr. Spiegel is especially proud to be an active part of all the 3 and 4 generation families he treats, from ages 2 to 98, a testament to his service to the community. He has been married to the beautiful Ellen for 27 years. They enjoy family time with their 4 sons and 4 grandchildren, as well as getting together with friends, theater, music, travel, dining, and exercising.
