About Robert Lin, DMD
Originally from Ohio, Dr. Robert Lin called New York his home for over a decade. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Dr. Lin continued his education at University of Pennsylvania where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine Degree. After completion, Dr. Lin completed NYU Langone Dental Advanced Education in General Dentistry program (AEGD) in San Francisco. Dr. Lin started his career in private practice in the Bay Area. He moved to San Marcos in 2018 and is one of the few Ivy League dentists within San Diego County. Dr. Lin values the importance of patient education and prevention so they feel comfortable and understand the scope of their oral health and what they can do to improve their quality of life. His background in psychology helps patients cope with their fear of visiting dentists. Dr. Lin believes in staying current with the latest technology and advancements by attending continuing education courses throughout the year. Dr. Lin is an active member of California Dental Association (CDA), American Dental Association (ADA), and San Diego County Dental Society (SDCDS). Dr. Lin’s hobbies include watching basketball, dining out with his wife, visiting Legoland, and collecting Transformer Bumble Bee toys with his 2 boys.
