About Robert Leitner, DDS
Dr. Robert Leitner graduated in 1983 from Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, New York, with a B.A. in Biology. He went on to earn his D.D.S., graduating in 1987 from New York University College of Dentistry. From 1987 to 1991, Dr. Leitner served as an associate dentist in several practices. Then, in 1991, the doctor opened his present private practice, Leitner Dental Arts, at 3200 Sunset Avenue, Suite 104, in Ocean, New Jersey. Dr. Leitner has over 1,000+ hours of continuing dental education. This includes advanced training in the treatment of periodontal disease (1990 – 1991) and advanced training in dental implant placement (2003). He also served as a clinical staff member from 1992 to 1997 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. The doctor holds memberships in the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and the Monmouth and Ocean County Dental Society. He is a member of the Jersey Coast Dental Forum (Advanced Dental Study Group) for implants and cosmetic dentistry. Married since 1989, Dr. Leitner and his wife, Amy, are proud parents of Ali, Sari and Michael. He and his family reside in Ocean. The doctor is an avid skier, golfer, and softball player.
