About Robert A. Adler, DDS
Dr. Robert A. Adler was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia and moved to Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 10. There he completed his formal education and went on to Arizona State University where he received his BS degree in Science with a minor in Chemistry. He graduated from St. Louis University Dental School. After graduation he joined the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas for 2 years. He was assigned to the Dependant Pediatric, Oral Surgery and Crown and Bridge Clinics at Fort Hood. After being discharged from the Army he moved to San Diego and was hired by the Children’s Dental Clinic. He purchased a small General Practice by the San Diego Zoo while looking for a permanent location. It took a few years to find exactly what he was looking for; an older home overlooking a canyon off the 163 freeway. After a year of overseeing the remodeling of this 1917 home, the practice was officially moved. The practice has 4 employees, including Dr. Adler, who love their small quaint practice with our motto of “one patient at a time” and “treat everyone as we would like to be treated”. Dr. Adler’s top priority in his practice is to establish a rewarding and lasting relationship with his patients. His staff has worked together for over 25 years, which shows in the efficient running of our practice. Dr. Adler offers a variety of restorative dental services including Dental Implants, Reconstruction and Cosmetic Dentistry, Crown and Bridge, Partials, Full Dentures and Pediatrics. Children and anxious patients are put at ease by the homey atmosphere they will notice when they first walk in the door. As a dental professional, Dr. Adler has stayed up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options for his patients completing 1000+ hours of continual dental education. Dr Adler is a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics where he received training in Botox and Dermal Fillers.
