About Rick C. Shay, DMD
Dr. Rick Shay graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1989, earning a Doctor of Medical Dentistry Degree. Dr. Shay is passionate about keeping up with new advancements in dentistry. He completes more education courses than required for licensing renewal. Dr. Shay recently has been focusing on advanced cosmetic restorations, implant restoration, and root canal therapy. Dr. Shay takes great pride in providing dentistry in a manner that is comforting to his patients. His goal is to reduce apprehension and educate his patients on his recommended treatments while helping them maintain healthy, beautiful smiles. Dr. Shay is a father of three. He enjoys coaching them in baseball, softball & basketball. In his free time, he is passionate about traveling, music & outdoor activities, such as: hiking, mountain biking, skiing, rafting, camping and more!
