About Richard J. Elias, DDS
Dr. Richard Elias III, D.D.S. has been practicing dentistry since 1991. After receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Northwestern University, he joined his grandfather in an established practice in East Grand Rapids. Utilizing the most technologically advanced equipment and techniques, Dr. Elias performs all aspects of modern dentistry. From cosmetic veneering and bonding to implant tooth replacement, every facet of a healthy and beautiful smile is addressed. Dr. Elias attends over 30 hours of continuing education every year to stay abreast of the newest and most advanced techniques, materials and practice managment tools. Dr. Elias has been married to Amy since 1989, and they have three boys; Jake, Luke and Peter. The Elias family attends Ada Bible Church at the Cascade Campus and are quite involved with the church family. Dr. Elias is very involved with the autism community, serving as President of Autism Support of Kent County (ASK). Last year ASK raised over $40,000.00 to support children and families affected by Autism. When not performing dentistry, Dr. Elias enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy and family, golf, gardening, and playing the mandolin.Dr. Elias is an active member of the following:American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, West Michigan Dental District, Kent County Dental District, Chicago Dental Society, Christian Medical and Dental Association, and The Seattle Study Club.
