About Richard Donkersgoed, DDS
Dr. Richard Donkersgoed is the co-owner of Forest Family Dentistry North together with Dr. Robin Bethell. He has been practicing with Forest Family Dentistry since the spring of 2014. Dr. Donkersgoed was born in Ontario Canada and moved to Austin Texas in 2013. He received his Bachelors Degree in Biology from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Toronto in 2011. During this time, Dr. Donkersgoed was a well rounded student, being awarded a summer internship focusing on emergency dentistry, acted the class social chair and served as the Vice President of Xi Psi Phi dental fraternity. Dr. Donkersgoed practice philosophy is one of compassion, relationship driven, and ethical based dentistry. His passions include cosmetic dentistry, sleep (sedation) dentistry and surgical dentistry including tooth extractions and dental implants. He is committed to professional development and ultimately quality care for his patients. He is a member of the American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, the Capital Area Dental Society, Texas and American Dental Associations.
