Dr. Ria Flores-Tamayo may very well be, the compassionate and ultimate dental practitioner, a woman of truly impressive credentials. She is a Doctor of Dental Medicine who finished her studies at the University of the East in the Philippines and went on to advance her studies in the field of General Dentistry in New York University. Her life as a student was marked with a colorful history and takes pride in the fact that she was a consistent outstanding student. She also took numerous responsibilities for the service of others, as a leader in various school organizations. After her dental specialty training, she turned her back from the tempting and more financially rewarding offer of practicing her profession in New York City. Instead, she packed her bags and followed the dictates of her heart and headed to the State of Arizona, an ideal place where she feels she and her family truly belongs. Her noble intention was to share her expertise to the people in communities of Avondale, Litchfield Park and Goodyear, AZ as well as other nearby localities. Dr. Ria has come a long way since then. Her rendezvous with destiny earned for her a distinction of being acknowledged as a shining example of selfless service, for the welfare of her dental patients. The services of Dr. Flores-Tamayo to the community has flourished throughout the years. She began providing her professional skills at Southwest Dental Clinic in Phoenix,Az and after a year, opened up her own dental practice in Avondale,Az. Just this May of 2008, she literally opened up the doors of her new office at 14425 W McDowell Rd., Ste. F-106, Goodyear, Az 85395 where her patients can be assured of enjoying the best dental services with the top of the line and world class facilities. It is very remarkable to note that she chose to immerse herself in the monumental achievements of being a family dental health care practitioner--- the distinction that she has carried on in order to reach out to more men, women and children. Her career as a dentist is marked with excellence, consistency , dedication and reliability. She is an active member of American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association. Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, Academy of General Dentistry and American Orthodontic Society. She is also an active church choir member at St. John Vianney Parish.
