About Reginald E. Whitcomb, DDS
Dr. Whitcomb graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1982. He has been serving patients in the Petoskey area ever since. D.H. Baker Dental Laboratory, a dental business based in Traverse City, recently honored a Petoskey dentist, Dr. Reginald Whitcomb for commitment to excellence in his profession. Each year, the laboratory — which provides dental products such as crowns, bridges, dentures and implants — selects a small group of dental professionals for this recognition. It honors dentists who exceed the standard of patient care and who provide an exceptional level of patient care within their community. Dr. Whitcomb is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. In 2014, Dr. Whitcomb and Petoskey Dental Associates became the first in the state of Michigan to obtain a facility accreditation for the proficiency, professionalism, and procedural excellence in the treatment of sleep apnea and sleep-disordered breathing. Dr. Whitcomb enjoys bicycling, snow shoeing, pheasant hunting, and boating.
