About Randall C. Latorre, MD

My introduction to medicine began with my father, Rodolfo Latorre, a family practice physician. On occasion, I would make rounds in the hospital and nursing home with him and observe how he connected with his patients.ﾠ My father had a great bedside manner joking with the patients, but always knew when he needed to be more serious to deliver a message.ﾠ It’s becauseﾠof my father that I pursued a medical career and eventuallyﾠbecame a board certified Otolaryngologist and Fellowship trained facial plastic surgeon. This has provided me the opportunityﾠtoﾠpositively affectﾠthe lives of many over the past 15 years. Ultimately, I became interested in surgery, especially the head and neck, because of the challenging and intricate anatomy. Surgery is as much about knowledge and technique as finesse.ﾠ You must have a command of the anatomy and surgery, but also the ability to think on your feet and have the finesse to make changes during the surgery that benefit the patient.ﾠ Therefore, I chose to specialize in diseases of the sinuses, facial plastic reconstructive surgery and office-based procedures.ﾠ I received my Doctor of Medicine from the University of Missouri-Columbia and later completed an Ear, Nose and Throat residency at Yale University.ﾠ From there, I went on to complete my fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in the San Francisco Bay area and Indianapolis, Indiana.ﾠ I was so inspired by my father’s passion for this field of work that I knew some day I would be following in his foot steps.ﾠ In 2009, I was honored with the Patients’ Choice Award and am highly regarded by my patients for my bedside manner just like my father.ﾠ When I’m not in the office or operating room I love nothing more than spending my time off with my wife and 5 children.ﾠ Whether we’re snow skiingﾠin the mountains or just enjoying the few quiet times we have together, I’m a man that understands the importance of family
