About Randal W. Swenson, MD

Dr. Swenson is a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon as well us an Ear, Nose, and Throat physician and surgeon. Following graduation, he obtained his General Surgery training in residency in Michigan. Upon completion of the surgical training, he attended the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center where he completed a residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. This gave him focused training in surgery of the face, head and neck. He then attended the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) where he completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is considered a specialty plastic surgeon with expertise in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, head, and neck – as well as treatment of diseases of the ears, nose and throat. He is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Swenson frequently lectures on subjects of his expertise to medical societies and has contributed chapters to medical textbooks as well as published several articles in medical journals. He received his society’s National Honor Award for contributions to his specialty.
