About Ramiro Perez, MD
Dr. Ramiro Perez, Jr., a native of Miami, attended college at the University of Florida in Gainesville. There, his love of science and his desire to help others directed his professional path towards medicine. He attended Meharry School of Medicine in Nashville, Tenessee, where he decided upon a career in surgery. After medical school, it was his goal to return to Miami to be closer to his family. He completed residencies in both general surgery and plastic surgery at the University of Miami. Dr. Perez is double boarded in plastic surgery and general surgery and has been in private practice at MOSA since the completion of his residency. His areas of interest include aesthetic surgery and breast reconstruction. Not only is Dr. Perez a very dedicated, caring, and empathetic doctor, but he is also a very committed family man, who loves to spend his free time with his wife and young son.
