About Rami Geffner, MD

In his leisure time, Dr. Geffner enjoys ocean fishing off NJ and Florida. He has his sea captain's license and various fishing boats. He is an artist who specializes in various mediums, enjoys riding motorcycles and spending time with his family. He enjoys his work and his team at Certified Dermatology. Dr. Geffner grew up in Highland Park, NJ and obtained his bachelor of science degree from Livingston College and his master of science degree from Rutgers University. He earned his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School and completed an internship in internal medicine at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. He completed his dermatology residency at Washington University, Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO, and a fellowship in Dermatopathology at The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, NC. Dr. Geffner is board-certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology. He oversees Certified Dermatology NJ practices throughout New Jersey and is licensed in multiple states. In his leisure time, he’s an artist who specializes in various mediums and has a sea captain’s license. In addition to painting and fishing, he enjoys riding motorcycles and spending time with his family. Over 30 years ago, Dr. Geffner noticed many medical professionals tended to locate their offices closer to larger communities, forcing many patients to travel to see their provider. Dr. Geffner took an early lead and located Dermatology Offices throughout New Jersey, providing easy access for many, many patients. Today, Dr Geffner and his team at Certified Dermatology has 22 offices in NJ. He continues to travel daily to offices near and far.
