About Rafael Nieto, MD
Dr. Rafael Nieto is a compassionate healer who uses a combination of alternative and allopathic medicine with state-of-the-art and non-invasive cosmetic procedures to help men and women achieve health and beauty from inside and out. He provides his services at his Medical Spa, Izar Wellness Institute, located in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was born and raised in Mexico City. He obtained his MD Certificate at Universidad Anahuac, the most prominent private medical school in the country. He continued his medical career overseas with student rotations at Gregorio Maranon Hospital in Madrid, Spain. After relocating to the United States, he had different cardiology training and work experiences at Memorial Herman and Ben Taub General Hospitals in Houston. Later on, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency training program at North Shore Long Island Jewish Healyh System in New York. He is board certified by the ABIM. Since 2007, he has taken many cosmetic medicine certifications, most of them at Esthetic Skin Institute in Florida. As he uses many different tools that other providers do not have available, his patients enjoy the most NATURAL LOOKING results with only mild or no downtime at all. His bedside manners, worldly cultural and medical background and the time spent with each of his clients in a pristine modern art-rich facility, make his services unsurpassable.
