About Rachel L. Laarman, MD
Rachel Laarman, MD, is a board-certified pediatric dermatologist. Dr. Laarman earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. She completed her pediatric residency at University of Utah in Salt Lake City, her dermatology residency at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City and her pediatric dermatology fellowship at Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Laarman's clinical interests include acne, atopic dermatitis/eczema, alopecia/hair loss, infantile hemangiomas, vascular malformations, birthmarks, port wine stains, psoriasis, newborn rashes, discoid lupus, genetic skin disorders, warts, molluscum, vitiligo and other skin infections. I am a Michigander! Born in Lansing and graduate of Hope College, my family and I are returning to MI after many years away during training. I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and children.
