She is trained in Ayurvedic treatments in India as well as in USA. She won many awards like “the Spotlight Award” from the Intuit for her unique way of marketing through word of mouth, during her first year in business. In 2010, she won,” Plaque of Honor, talk of the town award” for excellence in customer satisfaction, where her business is rated as the most popular and the best business in the city. Promila with her extensive knowledge of Ayurveda and experience of running a wellness Spa, is recognized for the magic touch of her hands. In 2011, Promila took her beauty and wellness spa to one step higher and named it Kayantra. She introduced natural skin care products which bring harmony in body, mind and spirit. In January, 2012,She started her skin care blog and writes about skincare tips. In 2017 she graduated from Formula Botanica to formulate plant based natural skin care products.
