About Priya S. Thakker, MD
Dr. Priya Thakker is board certified in dermatology and fellowship trained in Mohs Surgery for treatment of skin cancer. She is committed to providing her patients with the highest quality of dermatologic care. Dr. Thakker strives to provide advanced care in a warm and compassionate manner. She completed her surgical fellowship training at Harvard Medical School in Boston. She then served as the Director of Cosmetics & Laser Surgery, and Assistant Professor of Dermatologic Surgery/Mohs Surgery & Reconstruction at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. During her academic career, she has enjoyed training many medical students, dermatology residents, and Mohs surgical fellows. Her research has also been published in several prominent dermatology journals. Dr. Thakker’s primary area of interest is skin cancer focusing on the medical & surgical management of melanoma, basal cell and squamous cell cancers. In addition to treating various forms of skin cancer she is dedicated to skin cancer awareness and prevention.
