About Prathima Chawla, DMD
Prathima Chawla, D.M.D, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine in 2001. She also received a dental degree in India from S.D.M College of Dental Sciences, in 1996. Upon graduation, she relocated to Denver, Colorado and worked in an established, private dental practice for over 13 years. Over the years, she has trained with reputed institutes like Dawson's academy, Invisalign and Nobel Biocare Institute to provide her patients with the highest quality of comprehensive dental care. Dr. Chawla and her family relocated to the Bay area in the summer of 2013. Her commitment to her patients is providing exemplary treatment in a calm and friendly environment. The most rewarding aspect of her practice over the years has been helping patients overcome their fear of being in a dental chair. Her desire to help people understand their treatment needs is constantly reflected in her interaction with patients throughout the day. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Santa Clara Dental Society.
