About Prashant Singri, MD
Dr. Singri was born and raised in Ohio. He received his undergraduate degree from Youngstown State University and completed his medical training at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. After an internship at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center, he completed a two-year research fellowship at Northwestern University investigating therapies in the treatment of skin diseases such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, cutaneous lymphoma, vitiligo, and actinic keratosis (“precancers”). He completed his dermatology residency at the Department of Dermatology at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine. After working at Northwestern for 7 years with a special interest in psoriasis and inflammatory diseases, he turned to focusing his efforts in Schaumburg full time. He continues to be a member of the faculty at Northwestern. He also continues to be involved in clinical trials research here in Schaumburg, investigating promising therapies for skin diseases. He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Singri and his family are proud supporters and volunteers at Kids Against Hunger – Fox Valley.
