About Prapand Apisarnthanarax, MD
Prapand Dr.A Apisarnthanarax is double board-certified in dermatology and dermatopathology and is also a distinguished professor and part of the Fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP). Dr. A graduated with his bachelor’s degree from Chulalongkorn University. Following his undergraduate career, Dr. A completed his medical degree at Siriraj University. Both of his degrees are from prestigious universities in Bangkok, Thailand. He attended his dermatology residency at the University of Alabama Birmingham. Dr. A earned his board certification in dermatopathology and went on to serve as an accomplished faculty member at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston. For 10 years, he has taught as an associate professor and served as director of dermatopathology. In 1981, he established his current dermatology practice, which is now known as Clear Lake Dermatology. Dr. A. has written and co-written 25 publications throughout his career. He has special interests in skin cancers and serves as the dermatopathologist for the practice.
