About Polly D. Rivas, DDS
Born in New York but raised in the Mission District of San Francisco, Dr. Rivas is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and received her doctorate degree at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry located in San Francisco. Establishing her dental practice in the Financial District of San Francisco over 25 years ago, she recently built a state of the art dental facility in the heart of San Francisco’s famed Union Square. Dr. Rivas’ primary concern has always been the quality of care given to her patients. As such she has been an active participant in advanced dental studies beyond the required for a dentist, and has certifications from organizations such as the Interdisciplinary Dental Education Academy(IDEA), 3i- Synergy for Restorative Therapy for Osseointegrated Implants, FACE, Invisalign, and the Frank Spear Institute to name a few. Together with her passion for continued dental education and utilizing the latest in dental technology that dentistry has to offer, Dr. Rivas believes she is able to deliver the best quality care to her patients. Dr. Rivas is an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Periodontology, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the San Francisco Dental Society.
