About Phong K. Phane, DMD
Phong Phane, DMD, has over 13 years of experience providing expert dental care, and practices at Creating Smiles Dental in St. Petersburg and Clearwater, Florida. Dr. Phane was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. She received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of South Florida in 2007, where she also minored in biology. In 2013, she completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, with special recognition in Operative Dentistry. She completed her dental residency at the highly regarded University of Florida College of Dentistry Advanced Education in General Dentistry in Seminole, Florida. Working alongside world-renowned dentists, she received valuable training in endodontic procedures, periodontal surgeries, advanced dentistry with occlusion, prosthodontics, TMJ disorders, and dental implants. Committed to further developing her skills and expertise, she is a fellow in the International Congress of Implantologists and an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the West Coast Dental Association, and the Florida Dental Association. To better serve the patients in her community, Dr. Phane is fluent in Lao. When she’s not working, Dr. Phane enjoys spending time with her family.
