He specializes in medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology including Mohs surgery. Prior to medical school, he attended Princeton University where he earned a PhD in biochemistry. He has practiced dermatology in San Mateo for many years, and joined CSI in 2014. He trained his daughter Hilary Johnston, PA-C, who also practices at CSI in San Mateo.
