About Paul Hung, DDS

Paul Hung DDS MS graduated from New York University College of Dentistry after obtaining his Masters of Science in Biomedical Science. Dr. Paul does not settle for the minimum, he has averaged over 125 CE hours each year in pursuit to train and learn from the masters of dentistry from all over the country. This is almost 10 times the state’s licensing requirements. You can rest assure that you are in the hands of an amazing clinician who knows what to do when. Dr. Paul has taken over 60 hours of sedation courses and is Level 2 licensed which means he can perform multiple types of oral sedation techniques. Of the dozens of sedation cases, he has had 100% success. As an oral physician, Dr. Paul’s goals are to prevent any infections in the mouth as soon as possible and restoring oral health. Dr. Paul cares about the patient’s experience and offers various types of sedation. Dr. Paul is known for his gentle hands, soft-spoken voice, bed side manners and offering multiple treatment options. Dr. Paul offers second opinions and even recommends patients to seek out second opinions. Dr Paul is a dentist who was born in Miami, Florida and raised in Sarasota, Florida. His family have since moved to Dallas, Texas and takes residence in the Grand Peninsula Mira Lagos community. He completed a 2 year mission work in Grenada. His hobbies include staying up with the latest tech gadgets, weight lifting, eating delicious food, traveling and fast cars. Dr Paul attended the University of Florida for his Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Barry University for his Masters of Science in Biomedical Science and New York University College of Dentistry for his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. has served the DFW community for over 5 years and has treated patients for over 7 years. He has obtained nearly 700 hours of continuing education where the average dentist of the same year has earned only 60 hours. He is trained in Nitrous Oxide sedation, Oral Sedation Dentistry, Digitally Guided Implants and Minimal Prep Cosmetic Veneers. We offer IV sedation for Extractions and Implants. Dr Paul Hung will be receiving the prestigious Fellowship in Academy of General Dentistry award in 2019. An award that only 7% of Texas Dentists obtain. Dr. Paul is pursuing his Fellowship in the International Congress of Implantology and his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry, a recognition that only 2% of Texas Dentists obtain.
