Dr. Ladipo is a board certified dentist and member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the American Dental Association (ADA) , the Texas Dental Association (TDA) , the Greater Houston Dental Society (GHDS), the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) and the Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce. She holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from University of Alberta, Canada and has completed continuing education courses in cosmetic and sedation dentistry. Dr. Ladipo has been practicing for over 10 years. Recognising the need for an experienced General Dentist in Atascocita with a personal touch, she opened TeethWise Dental. Austin, TX (July 17, 2017)—The Texas Academy of General Dentistry (Texas AGD) is pleased to announce that Omowumi Ladipo, DDS, FAGD of Humble, Texas, received the association’s Fellowship Award during the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) 2017 annual meeting on July 15, 2017, in Las Vegas. The AGD Fellowship Award is presented to dentists who seek to provide the highest quality dental care by remaining current in their profession. To accomplish this goal, Dr. Ladipo completed 500 hours of dental continuing education, passed a comprehensive written exam and fulfilled three years of continuous membership in the AGD. Texas AGD Fellows understand that providing beautiful smiles and excellent oral health for their patients are the result of going above and beyond basic requirements. Dr. Ladipo graduated from the University of Alberta, Canada in 2005 and currently practices in Humble, where she resides with her husband Tosin Famurewa. She continues to demonstrate her desire for excellence as a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry TeethWise, a state-of-the-art dental facility, was opened by Dr. Ladipo as she recognized the need for a General Dentist in Atascocita.
