About Omar Yeung, DDS
Omar Yeung, DDS, grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia, and graduated from the University of Toronto in 1985. Dr. Yeung went to Georgetown University Dental school—class of 1989—and he also met his wife in the D.C. area. He moved to Chicago in 1989 and has called it home ever since. After graduating, Dr. Yeung gained experience working for various practices from 1989 through 1992. He bought the current practice in 1992, moving to its present location in 1995. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Yeung is a people person, and dentistry enables him to not only meet new people but also to get to know them and help them. Dr. Yeung says between the patients and his team, the practice feels like one big family, with many patients having been with the office since he started there and whose kids he has seen grow up. Dr. Yeung and his wife have been married for 30 years, and the couple has three kids and two dogs. He enjoys playing golf and traveling in his spare time.
