About Omar Shalash, DDS
Dr. Omar Shalash graduated from Columbia University school of Dentistry. After finishing dental school from Columbia University College of Dental, he went for an extensive three years of dental residency where he received an advance education in general dentistry. This included the highest standards of teaching and learning in Prosthodontics, periodontics, endodontic, oral surgery, implant dentistry and pediatric dentistry. Dr. Shalash then completed his general practice residency at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine affiliated with New York – Presbyterian Hospital where the dental service included heavy training on oral surgery with hospital base programs. Dr. Shalash wants to deliver professional dental care in a friendly atmosphere in a manner we would want our family, friends and ourselves to be treated. He believes smiles are always in fashion. Dr. Shalash is always trying to expand his knowledge and is eager to learn new skills. He has recently taken continuing education courses for placing and complication of implants, Socket Preservation following tooth extraction, Crown lengthening in Aesthetic Zone and received his Invisalign certification. In his spare time, Dr. Shalash loves being active and exploring the city. He is a huge foodie and is always looking for new restaurants and rooftops to try. Dr. Shalash also enjoys watching the Chicago Bears, St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues and will jump at any chance he gets to visit a new destination.
