About Noel S. Tenenbaum, MD

Dr. Tenenbaum graduated Cum Laude from Union College in Schenectady, New York with a Bachelor of Science degree while majoring in Biochemistry. He attended and graduated from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 1986 as a surgery major. His senior research project was in the growth and transfer of fat cells in rabbits for the reconstruction of soft tissue deformities. Dr. Tenenbaum completed his 5 year General Surgery residency in 1991 at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York. This is a teaching center for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He received awards for outstanding research in 1989 and 1990. In 1991 Dr. Tenenbaum received the Resident of the Year award. He subsequently became Board Certified by the American Board Of Surgery. In 1993, Dr. Tenenbaum completed his Plastic and Reconstructive residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The University of Michigan is a leading teaching institution for plastic surgery in the United States and Dr. Tenenbaum co-authored 2 Plastic Surgery text book chapters while in this residency program. Dr. Tenenbaum was subsequently awarded Fellowship training in Aesthetic and Craniofacial Surgery with world renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Daniel Marchac in Paris, France. After completing this 6 month fellowship, Dr. Tenenbaum returned to the United States and became Board Certified by the American Board Of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Tenenbaum has published 13 scientific papers and has been in solo plastic surgery practice in Palm Harbor, Fl since 1995. He has been an active member of Morton Plant Hospital and section head of Plastic Surgery since 2000. Dr. Tenenbaum is an active member of the Reed O. Dingman Society of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Tenenbaum continues to specialize in cosmetic surgery of the face and breast, while also becoming a leader in the body contouring techniques of Smart Lipo Triplex.
