About Niles Nicolo, DDS

Dr. Nicolo attended St. Joseph's University and graduated with a B.S. in Biology. He then earned his degree in Dentistry from The Temple University School of Dentistry. Dr Nicolo completed a Residency in General Dentistry at West Jersey Hospital. He then joined Jefferson in 1981 as Associate Director of its General Practice Residency Program and full time attending dentist. In 1985 he became co-owner of Jefferson Dental Associates after purchasing the practice from Jefferson University Hospital. Currently, Jefferson Dental Associates is located on the Jefferson campus in The Ben Franklin House at 834 Chestnut Street. Dr. Nicolo maintains his affiliation with Jefferson Hospital as an active staff member. Dr. Nicolo is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Philadelphia County Dental Society. Committed to providing the best care possible for his patients, Dr. Nicolo completes over forty hours of continuing education per year, and has taken postdoctoral courses in prosthodontics, endodontics, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery. Dr. Nicolo has over 20 years experience as a cosmetic dentist and has extensive training including the advanced use of digital imaging and the use of sophisticated digital x-ray and intra-oral imaging. Dr. Nicolo has also been restoring dental implants for over 20 years and has extensive experience in complex restorative cases. Dr. Nicolo is committed to providing the highest quality dental care in a state of the art practice. He uses the latest pain control techniques to minimize discomfort. He believes excellent patient communication is the foundation of a trusting doctor patient relationship.
