About Nikolas M. Stathopoulos, DDS
Dr. Niko is one of those rare people who can immediately put others at ease. He has a friendly and comforting bedside manner that quickly endears him to his patients.Dr. Niko strives to deliver a smile that not only looks amazing but is healthy, stable, and long lasting. Dr. Niko’s passion for dentistry began as a Classical Art and Literature student at U.C. Berkeley, where he admired how the ancient Greeks and Romans could metamorphose amorphous blocks of stone into beautiful transcendent works of art. He discovered that many of the attributes he enjoyed about art and his innate desire of serving others also applied to dentistry as a whole. Dr. Niko earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the prestigious University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors. He continues to spend additional time in post graduate training, studying under renowned leaders in functional and esthetic dentistry, most notably Dr. Spear at the Scottsdale Center. Dr. Niko is a member of the California Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Dental Sleep Dentistry, the Academy of Laser Dentistry, and the International College of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Niko is a San Francisco Bay Area native and is committed to giving back to the community. As a devoted citizen and passionate health advocate, Dr. Niko regularly participates in giving free oral health care services and screenings to low-income families. Dr. Niko is very involved in his church, he enjoys reading history, being a handyman around the house and office, and sipping a good espresso. He is happily married to his soul mate, wife Voula, with whom he has the honor of raising their three wonderful children.
