About Neda Nosrati, MD

Dr. Neda Nosrati is a native Houstonian and has lived her entire life in Texas. She graduated high school from Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart. For undergraduate studies, she attended the University of Texas at Austin where she obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Neurobiology with Highest Honors and an election to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She then returned to Houston and earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine while on a full Presidential Scholarship. Dr. Nosrati completed an internship in internal medicine at UT-Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and thereafter finished her training in dermatology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. After earning her board certification, she practiced for one year in Dallas while her husband finished his urology residency at UT-Southwestern. Dr. Nosrati and her family then returned home to Houston where she has since been practicing dermatology. When not working, Dr. Nosrati enjoys spending time with her husband, urologist Dr. Paul Smith, her three young children, and her two rescue mutts, Atlas and Titan. She also loves to read, jog, travel, and ski. Dr. Nosrati is experienced in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology with a primary clinical focus in all areas of medical dermatology. She sees both adult and pediatric patients for a variety of skin conditions including eczema, rash, acne, hair loss, psoriasis & annual skin screenings. Dr. Nosrati is board certified in dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Texas Dermatological Society, and the Texas Medical Association. She served as the 2018 President of the Houston Dermatologic Society.
