Nardo Zaias, M.D is a board-certified dermatologist and co-founder of the Greater Miami Skin & Laser Center, the first dedicated skin & laser center in Miami Beach, FL. A pioneer, author, and father, Dr. Nardo Zaias has become one of the most prominent dermatologists in South Florida. His Miami Beach office is the go-to center for thousands of elite patients with the highest of standards. Dr. Zaias is a respected figure whose reputation stems from a combination of superior academic training, along with an unparalleled commitment to research. A lifelong devotion to the treatment of skin diseases together with his attention to detail is the driving force that brings patients from all over the world. Dr. Zaias has conducted many studies concerning the origination, diagnosis, and treatments of skin, nail, and foot diseases, infections, and environmental factors of these conditions. From 1967 to 1968, he worked with the US Armed Forces where he examined soldiers who developed skin conditions due to the climate conditions in the jungle. His research led him to design a special tropical boot for members of the military that allowed them to sustain intense weather conditions.
