About Moriah R. Moffitt, MD

A native of the Midwest, Moriah Moffitt attended Miami University for her undergraduate studies, graduating cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She then attended The Ohio State University College of Medicine. During her junior year, she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and graduated magna cum laude. She was awarded the Zollinger Prize in Surgery in recognition of her outstanding performance in surgery while at Ohio State. Moriah chose to pursue her residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of South Florida. At the completion of her intern year, she received the Outstanding Intern Award. Following residency training, she opened a private practice in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, specializing in Cosmetic Surgery, in South Tampa. Dr. Moffitt is an expert in many different procedures including breast augmentation, breast lift, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), eyelid surgery, and liposuction. She specializes in mommy makeovers and being a mother of four children, she can relate to the effects of pregnancy and motherhood on a mother's body. She also performs less invasive procedures such as BOTOX® for facial animation lines. She also employs a full line of facial fillers including Juvederm Ultra, Juvederm UltraPlus, Voluma and Volbella to improve facial contour depressions or for lip augmentation. Dr. Moffitt is an expert and National trainer for Performing the PRP ""Vampire Facelift and Facial"" procedure as well as the ""O Shot"" and ""P Shot"" procedure also using the patient's own ""Platelet Rich Plasma"" Dr. Moffitt is board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and an ASPS Member.
