In 1991 I bought my first bottle of ylang ylang and I have been enchanted by the essence of plant magics ever since. At that time finding quality plant-based skincare meant making it yourself - so I did. Soap-making. Lotions, creams, all of it. And later henna and perfumery - - everything is plants. I started Alchemy in 2011 because my kids were starting school and it was time to 'get a job'. I cannot office. Alchemy reflects my belief in science and magic. My husband and I live in Ferndale with our two teens and two dogs. I have a BS in Recreation and Leisure Studies and am a licensed Esthetician.
