About Monica Helm, Aesthetician Specialist
Mónica was born in Colombia and grew up in Venezuela. Coming from a Colombian background, where she received most of her training, she is fluent in English and Spanish. She developed her own business in the aesthetic field then moved to the USA to start a family of her own. She maintains a license as a Certified Aesthetician in the state of Florida. Mónica was inspired to start a career as a Medical Aesthetician, after having her own skin issues during her teen years. This happened after a dermatologist suggested her to go to an Aesthetician in her country of residence, Venezuela. The aesthetician cured her breakouts and put her on the right skin care regimen under the care of the dermatologist. With more than 10 years of experience as a Medical Aesthetician, she learned about diet and other factors that can have a major impact in obtaining and maintaining healthy skin. Monica is capable of treating a lot more than just a generic facial. She believes in very effective extractions, without scarring, as the starting point for a successful anti-acne/rejuvenative treatment. She has extensive experience with several chemical peel lines, microdermabrasion, TCA CROSS and Micro Needling. In addition to skincare, Mónica has previous hands on experience with fillers and BOTOX. She can educate and make suggestions to clients on BOTOX®, then refer them to our Doctors or PA's. She is certified in Permanent Make-up, and is currently working towards her license as an RN.
