About Mona N. Patel, DMD
You could say Dr. Mona Patel was born to be a clinical care provider. Influenced by her father’s pediatric medical practice, she observed the clinical precision and genuine care for patients her family valued. She knew from an early age; she wanted to create smiles and serve people through dentistry. Raised in England, she went to dental school at the young age of 17. Dr. Patel graduated from University of Birmingham Dental program in 1990 and practiced for a short time in Coventry before moving to the states. To pursue her career in America, Dr. Patel attended the prestigious University of Pennsylvania Dental School. While completing her degree, she served as a clinical instructor for final year dental students. In 1995, Dr. Patel joined a private practice, which became Patel Distinctive Dentistry. With a focus on comprehensive and complex dentistry for over 25 years, Dr. Patel has provided outstanding care for a generation of patients. Her commitment to providing the latest dentistry has to offer, including advanced tooth replacement with dental implants, full mouth rehabilitation, and smile makeover design, is evidenced from the hundreds of hours dedicated to continuing education each year. As both an educator to other dentists and a student, Dr. Patel offers technology and techniques to give her patients care that supports overall health and wellness.
