About Mitchell C. Mactier, DDS
Dr. Mactier is a native to the Woodlands area, where he attended College Park High School. He attended the University of Texas where he graduated with honors with a degree in Biology and was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society. During his time at Texas, Dr. Mactier was involved in Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and active in intramural sports. During his summers, Dr. Mactier would teach wakeboarding and surfing lessons on Lake McQueeney. After graduating college, Dr. Mactier married his best friend since 5th grade and his high school sweetheart, Dallas. Dr. Mactier attended The University of Texas Dental School at Houston. During his time there, he was elected and served as the president of his dental class. Dr. Mactier graduated at the top of his dental class and was awarded The American College of Dentists Outstanding Student Leader Award for exemplary scholastic performance and potential to impact the profession, The International College of Dentists Student Leadership Award, and The 2018 Dentsply Sirona Prosthodontics Award. While growing up, Dr. Mactier spent countless hours in the dental chair. He has had many different procedures done on him, ranging from braces to implants. He has seen what a personal impact dentistry can have on one’s life and he seeks to provide dental care that is of the highest standard to all of his patients. Dr. Mactier believes that every conversation starts with a smile and is committed to positively impacting his patients in the same way that dentistry has impacted his life. Dr. Mactier enjoys spending time with his wife, Dallas and their golden retriever, Donut. He also enjoys playing drums and guitar in the worship band at his church. He and his wife have traveled to over 15 countries, including participating in the running of the bulls in Spain and enjoy exploring the world together. Dr. Mactier has attended the mission trip to Guatemala for 4 years in a row, where he served as the student leader. He is excited to be a part of the Woodlands Family Dental team and is looking forward to helping you achieve the smile you have always dreamed of.
