About Mitchell Chasin, MD

Dr. Mitchell Chasin founded Reflections Center for skin & body as a place where physicians specializing in cosmetic medicine could focus on helping empower patients to feel their most beautiful. Dr. Chasin believes strongly that the best cosmetic physicians are those who are dedicated to mastering their craft through continuing education and collaboration with the industry’s top doctors. The team of highly-specialized cosmetic physicians at Reflections is dedicated to mastering the art and science behind natural-looking results with minimal downtime. In 1998, Dr. Chasin founded Reflections in Bridgewater, New Jersey, and in 2005, expanded to a second location in Livingston, New Jersey. Always on the cutting edge of technology, Dr. Chasin is an innovator in the field and performs a wide range of laser and aesthetic procedures. Dr. Chasin has extensive training in aesthetic medicine and has studied under some of the country’s most prominent physicians. He serves as a nationwide lecturer and teacher himself and is often seen on national and regional television and frequently quoted in magazines and journals. Dr. Mitchell Chasin is the Medical Director of Reflections Center for Skin and Body. Dr. Chasin received a BA in Biology and Psychology from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY in 1981 where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He earned his Medical Degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York. His internship and residency were served at Overlook Hospital, a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons located in Summit, New Jersey. Since the 1990’s Dr. Chasin has devoted himself fully to the field of Laser, Aesthetic and Cosmetic Medicine. Dr. Chasin has also served as a national training physician for Medicis, the makers of Restylane and Perlane dermal fillers, as well as for Allergan, makers of BOTOX® COSMETIC, and Solta, makers of Fraxel and Clear+Brilliant lasers. He has been featured in numerous media outlets and on top TV shows, including The Doctors, The Today Show, E!News, Fox and CBS Nightly News, Harper’s Bazaar, Essence, Women’s Health, and People Magazine. Dr. Chasin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Laser Surgery, a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and a member of the American Society of Cosmetic Physicians, the American Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society of Liposuction Surgery, the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, the International Association of Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine, the Med Spa Association, and the International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology. Dr. Chasin is one of an exclusive group of physicians who have achieved BOTOX® Top 250 Status in the nation.
