About Miriam L. Hanson, MD
Dr. Hanson specializes in aesthetic skin care, pediatric dermatology and women’s health. She practices with an all-inclusive approach and a meticulous attention to detail. Dr. Hanson provides an individualized treatment plan for each patient, combining cosmeceuticals and aesthetic agents with procedures such as volume restoration with dermal fillers, BOTOX® Cosmetic injections, resurfacing, chemical peels, and laser surgery – all with exquisite results. She has practiced at some of the top (awarded Platinum Rating) cosmetic and medical dermatology offices in North America and has worked closely with internationally recognized specialists in cosmetic dermatology, skin cancer, and contact dermatitis. She is a respected author who has penned several articles, individually or in collaboration with other reputable experts. Dr. Hanson is dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of dermatologic conditions. She is an active participant in various clinical research trials and participated in 13 separate dermatology clinical trials in one year alone. In 2011, Dr. Hanson relocated to Texas and opened Sanova Dermatology, a cutting-edge and comprehensive dermatology practice in Austin.
