About Mimi P. Tran, DDS
Dr. Tran is a native born and raised Houstonian who graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Sugar Land. With a passion for dentistry that ran in the family, she started her studies at Houston Baptist University and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Business. After receiving her bachelor degree, she went on and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio in 2007. Dr. Tran views her patients as an extension of her family and focuses on building personal relationships to understand each person's dental needs and provide high quality care. Dr. Tran’s treatment philosophy integrates state of the art technology with evidence based knowledge along with patient education. She understands some have a fear of dentistry and strives to provide a healthy and beautiful smile in a comfortable and safe setting. She diligently serves her patients with a hard-work ethic, commitment to excellence and a dedication to life-long continuing education and learning. Dr. Tran is an active member of SPEARS study club and multiple continuing education courses throughout the year. Dr. Tran and her husband were married in Houston in 2008 and have three beautiful children, Haley, Sydney and Darren. She enjoys her time with their 2 bichon dogs, Kobe and Milo, loves traveling, movies, working out, and time with her friends and extended family.
