Milena Ivanova, a founder of Milvani Holistic Spa is a international licensed Clinical Master Aesthetician (L.C.E) for over 20 years. While still in high school , she began her training for skin care with dermatologist in Bulgaria. Later on, she moved from Europe to Canada and attended "" L'academie de Beaute"" in Montreal. There she acquired detailed scientific knoweledge regarding the skin. Following this, Milena apprenticed in holistic nail care, natural waxing and Make-up artistry. During her professional carrier, she also provided theatrical make up and skin care treatments for stage artists, models, singers, including Canadian, Europian and American celebrities. Also, Milena volunteered to provide make up for cancer patients in Montreal. Since moving to Chicago, she has worked in a number of high-end Med Spas. Disillusioned by their use of synthetic, toxic and expensive skin products and treatments, she created ""Milvani Holistic Spa"". She has developed a selection of products absent of toxic fragrances, dyes, parabens, and chemicals. Her use of these products comes from a belief that maintaining good health naturally, rather than covering up flaws with cosmetics and surgery, is the key to the vitality of your skin. To enhance her ability to offer holistic therapies and services, she become a Certified Holistic Health Coach and Nutritionist (CHHC) from Institute for Integrative Nutrition, New York City. The only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories - combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts. Since, the skin is one of the most commonly affected organ systems in people who suffer from Inflamatory bowel disease, Milena has been intrigued by the benefits of Colon Hydrotherapy combined with naturopathic nutrition and life style improvement. She become a Certified Colon Therapist from the American Institute of Natural Health, Arizona. Milena is certified Green Peel specialist from Dr. Christine Schrammek Institute in Germany. Only an authorized and company trained beautician can perform the Original Green Herbal Peel treatment. She is member of Skin care Association for professionals (ASCP) and the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP).
