About Mike Jee, DDS
Dr. Mike Jee is Board Certified in Periodontology. He attended Northwestern University in Chicago, earning a D.D.S. degree. After graduation, he completed 3 years of residency training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery and earned a master's degree in Oral Biology from the University of California in San Francisco. During his residency training, he served as a chief resident and was involved in homeless clinic and a community clinic in Bay Area. Dr. Jee participated in dental researches as well. His work has been published by dental journals, such as Journal of Periodontology and IADR. He was a recipient of Basic Science Award by California Society of Periodontists, Outstanding Student Award by American Academy of Periodontology and NIH research scholarship. He is a member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Mateo Dental Society and American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Jee has vast knowledge and experience in non-surgical, surgical periodontal therapy and dental implant surgery. His current interest is in microscopic cosmetic surgery, laser surgery and implant surgery. Besides his time with his patients, he enjoys cycling, playing tennis and above all, spending time with his wife and two children.
