About Mike Armstrong, MD
Mike Armstrong, Jr., M.D. has practiced otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery in Richmond, Virginia since 1995. Dr. Armstrong founded Richmond ENT in January 2001 with the goal of improving the quality of the patient’s office experience. Dr. Armstrong created Richmond Hearing Aids in July 2009, as a separate corporation to provide physician supervised hearing rehabilitation. Dr. Armstrong is an experienced nasal and sinus surgeon who provides a wide range of treatments including allergy management, sinus surgery and cosmetic nasal surgery. Dr. Armstrong offers several minimally invasive techniques and was the first surgeon to describe powered endoscopic sinus surgery as an office procedure. Current research includes clinical trials evaluating new anti-inflammatory treatments for patients with nasal polyps who are hoping to avoid surgery.
