Michelle Bernard is New Jersey Certified in Permanent Makeup, a Member and Diplomat of the American Academy of Micropigmentation. She has trained under world-renowned Masters in the field of microblading and permanent makeup and is a Phibrows Certified Microblading Artist. This is how Michelle made her way to start microblading in New Jersey. Michelle began her career in the beauty and fashion industry as a model in New York City, the fashion capital of the world. As a highly sought after model, Michelle worked with some of the top beauty experts in the business. Before pursuing modeling, Michelle graduated from college with a degree in Psychology and found herself truly connected to how much ‘outer beauty’ could deeply affect inner beauty as it relates to how we see ourselves. Michelle found this truly profound and was driven to share this with others. I loved the way I felt getting my hair and makeup done for shoots and runway shows. It made me feel confident and empowered. I want women to feel this way when they wake up every day. It is why I love doing what I do. After many years in the beauty industry, Michelle discovered a whole new echelon of beauty through advanced techniques that delivered natural-looking results. Microblading and permanent makeup differed greatly from the traditional cosmetic tattoo and Michelle’s determination to be a leader in the industry earned her the coveted title of Phibrows Artist from the prestigious Branko Babic Phibrows Academy of Europe. Her passion brought her to train with some of the world’s most prestigious leaders in the field of microblading and permanent makeup, also known as micropigmentation.
