About Michael A. Wong, DDS
San Mateo dentist Dr. Michael Wong has had the pleasure of serving his community for over 25 years. Because of his commitment to continuing education, he is able to offer his patients outstanding care with state of the art technology, yet with an old-fashioned caring touch. Dr. Wong was born and raised in the Bay Area and graduated from the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry in 1983. Upon establishing his practice in San Mateo, he became active in the San Mateo County Dental Society, serving on the Board of Directors and as an award-winning Editor of its newsletter. He is a current member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and San Mateo Country Dental Society. Dr. Wong has studied and practiced cosmetic dentistry continuously and is a graduate of the Advanced Aesthetic Program at the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum. He has studied Full Mouth Reconstructive techniques at the Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education. He also has Level II certification for Invisalign. He keeps his knowledge current by participating in about 150 hours per year of continuing education in the field of restorative and cosmetic dentistry. His training with the experts in “appearance-related “ dentistry and his commitment to continued education in advanced techniques has made him a leader in this field.
