About Michael Tai, DDS
Dr Michael Tai received his doctor of dental surgery (DDS) degree from Columbia University in New York City in May of 2001. He further trained as a general practice resident (GPR) at the Veteran’s Affair Northern California in Sacramento where he refined his skills in complex extractions, implant placements, diffcult molar root canals and dental prosthesis. For the first few years out of residency, he practiced as an associate dentist with the not for profit Health Trust Children’s Mobile Dental Unit where he worked with disadvantaged children eventually being promoted to the Dental Clinic Director. In 2007, funding for the Mobile Unit ended and Dr Tai was afforded the opportunity to continue care for these children by opening his own dental office Valley Oak Dental. There he continues to not only work with these children, but their families and others around the Gilroy area. Equipped with the latest in technology with digtal xrays, paperless charts and highly advanced dental training, Dr Michael Tai is in a great position to deliver the highest quality care in dentistry.
